If you Google the term grief, grief is defined as “deep sorrow, especially that caused by someone’s death.” While one of the intentions of our practice is to help individuals work through grief from someone's death it is also to help people manage their deep sorrow from loss. Loss is defined as, “the fact or process of losing something or someone." It is likely that you or someone you know is experiencing loss this very moment. Right now, the world is living in very uncertain times. The loss and deep sorrow you may be experiencing is loss of control, a sense of security and stability, or companionship (just to name a few). While you may not be able to control the chaos around you, you can work to control it within you.
